The digital economy is the rare place where a great idea, a phone, and the right skills can outrun a bigger budget. That's why I'm so passionate about getting women and young people in early, not as users, but as builders and owners.

The playing field is more level than it's ever been

You no longer need a shop on the high street to reach customers, or a marketing department to look professional. A well-run social account, a simple website, and smart use of AI can put a one-person business shoulder-to-shoulder with much larger competitors.

The barrier isn't talent or ambition. It's access to the skills, and that's a gap we can close.

The four skills that change everything

  • AI literacy, using tools to do more with less time.
  • Digital marketing, being found and chosen by customers online.
  • Selling online, turning attention into actual orders.
  • Reading your numbers, making decisions with data, not guesses.

Start small, start now

You don't need to master all four at once. Pick the one that unblocks your next step and go deep. Momentum matters more than perfection.

You're not doing it alone

This work is part of a global movement, initiatives like Women in Digital Business (with ITC-ILO and Microsoft) exist precisely because the world has realised what women entrepreneurs can do when given the tools. I'm proud to train within that ecosystem, and prouder still to walk alongside the women and youth I coach.
